“We preserve the cultural traditions that shaped America — rooted in the African American experience, shared across communities, carried forward through story, music, and art. ” - Wright Cultural Heritage Foundation

Built from Decades of Cultural Work
Welcome
Wright Cultural Heritage Foundation, Inc. is a Florida nonprofit corporation based in Sanford, Florida. The Foundation is organized for charitable, educational, and cultural purposes and is preparing its federal 501(c)(3) application.
For generations, our music, our movement, and our memory have carried us forward. The Wright Cultural Heritage Foundation exists to make sure the next generation inherits all of it — louder, prouder, and more connected than ever.
We blend the energy of live festivals with the depth of cultural education, creating spaces where Black artistry is honored, young creators are funded, and traditions are passed hand to hand.
What We Do
Preserve. We document our living history — the stories, sounds, and craftsmanship that shaped our communities.
Celebrate. We produce festivals, concerts, and cultural events that uplift Black artists and bring our heritage to the main stage.
Empower. We fund scholarships, mentorships, and youth programs that put the next generation in the driver's seat.
